Discussion, Participation, Fun
We meet every two weeks on different days of the week so that anyone with a regular commitment can still join us.
Meetings generally begin at 8pm and finish with refreshments and a chat.
As well as discussion meetings we also have evenings presented by our members, occasional trips out and occasional speakers. A couple of events each year (for example the Summer Walk) are open to partners.
The varied programme is decided by us all and members are encouraged to participate in organising a meeting each year.
One person is the Local Organiser and contact point for the group and another person is the Treasurer. The holders of these two posts are volunteers and everyone has the opportunity to contribute in this way.
There is a current annual subscription to the National Group and a local subscription of £10 per annum payable each January.
